A new worry in new Maharashtra Cabinet: BJP-Sena leaders’ past tiffs with NCP ministers
Even as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday welcomed newly sworn in Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and eight other NCP legislators into the Maharashtra government, there are at least four newly sworn in NCP ministers with whom MLAs and leaders from the Shinde-led Shiv Sena have had tiffs in the past and there could be clear friction on ground
While MLAs in Shinde camp are clearly not too happy about Ajit Pawar-led NCP group joining the government, problems are likely to come to the fore on ground as almost all the nine ministers sworn in have had long-standing rivalries with BJP and Shiv Sena leaders in their respective constituencies.
